9A Worship - When God Speaks

Last week I called a friend living in Belfast … I hadn’t talked to him in years. When he picked up he said, “How’s bout you?” I knew it was him. Norman! Certain voices you know … they are unforgettable.

Good friends. Family. Famous actors. You’d recognize their voice anywhere. Can we say the same when God speaks?

Some people do crazy, insane, hurtful, things and then blame it on God … “He told me to …” The rest of us are pretty sure He didn’t!

God does speak to us. But how can we know for sure?

Have you ever sensed God speaking to you although no words were spoken? Have you ever known God wanted you to do something and yet you couldn‘t have explained how you knew? Have you heard God’s voice? What do we do when He speaks to us?
