Dear Grace Family,
This morning, as we begin our 2025 study in the Old Testament history books 1 & 2 Samuel, we meet a woman, an ordinary woman, a woman crushed and broken, a woman who has been beaten down by life, and by those close to her. It seems even God is against her.
What will she do? Where will she turn for help?
Her name is Hannah. From her tears, her heartache, her prayers, God will provide one of the greatest blessings, and greatest leaders, for the people of Israel. These books are named after him!
Throughout this study we will be introduced to ordinary people who, by God’s grace, lived extraordinary lives. He did that with them … and He can do that with us too. But first, Hannah Rose.
